White Tail Deer Vertebra Gallery
& Nature Photo Galleries
The vertebral column has many functions including protecting the spinal cord; providing attachment points for muscles and ribs; allowing flexibility and mobility; and supporting body structure including the head, shoulders and chest. Did it just happen by unguided random chance and natural selection with no foresight or was it intelligently designed?
Note: All white tail deer vertebrae in this gallery were found on top of the ground in Central Michigan, USA,except the sacra that were found in Fairfax Co., Virginia, USA.
